Hastings Family Service COVID-19 Response
Hastings Family Service is committed to providing essential services during the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. The HFS building is closed to the public and modifications have been made to ensure safe social distancing for our neighbors, volunteers, and staff. These modifications will remain in effect until further notice.
Hours: Monday - Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Fridays, 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Requests for food through the Market food shelf must be scheduled at least 2 days in advance. Because of the high volume of requests, same day or next day food pick ups may not be available at this time. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to check out the other food options available in the Hastings Community listed below and on the FAQ page.

All other programs and services are suspended at this time, including clothing and household vouchers from Rivertown Treasures Thrift Store, which is closed until further notice.
The Hastings Family Service Donation Center is Closed Until Further Notice
Donations are limited to monetary gifts, food, and personal care items at this time. See below for more information and call 651-437-7134 to set up a drop-off appointment. Please do not drop items at the doors or in the alley.

The best way for the community to help at this time is through a monetary gift. Financial gifts allow HFS to increase purchases from Second Harvest Heartland and local distributors as we strive to meet the needs at this time. The link above will take you directly to HFS's secure online donation site. Donations can also be made using our secure, locked donation drop box located at the Rivertown Treasures store entrance.

Hastings YMCA is offering free daily food bags in partnership with Every Meal. Food bags contain dry goods such as canned fruit, vegetables, soup, tuna, rice, etc. Food bags are available during YMCA business hours daily. No need to sign up just stop by!
