Hastings Family Service provides nutritious foods for individuals and families through the Market food shelf programs, and supportive services for residents of Independent School District 200.

  • Hastings Family Service provides food assistance with in-person shopping and drive-thru pickup options.

  • Hastings Family Service assists residents of ISD 200 with community resources. Grants and vouchers may be provided to assist with some expenses such as housing, utilities, automobile repairs, gas, prescriptions, diapers, formula, and household items.

  • In partnership with Allina Health Regina Hospital this program provides hot meals and a safety check for aging adults, people living with a disability or recovering from surgery.

  • Just Friends provides transportation to medical appointments and county buildings to enhance the quality of life for people in the Hastings community.

  • Project Share Holiday Assistance

    Families living in ISD 200 may register for Project Share holiday assistance to receive food and gifts during the Holidays. Businesses, churches, schools, and individuals make donations, fundraise, adopt families, host gift trees, and participate in toy and food drives to help their neighbors.

  • Hastings Family Service supports families living in ISD 200 with backpacks and school supplies at the beginning of the school year for children at all grade levels who are in need.

  • Clean, seasonal, carefully inspected, gently used clothing and household items are provided at no cost to families living in ISD 200 who would like assistance. Merchandise is also available for sale to the public and all store revenue supports HFS programs. 100% of the inventory is donated by the community.
