Help Craft Valentines for Neighbors!
Calling all youth groups, Girl Scout and Scout troops, classrooms, and all creative kiddos! Join our mission to provide help and hope to neighbors by crafting a valentine! These valentines will be shared with HFS neighbors served by Meals on Wheels, the Market food shelf, and other programs. Please note the following before signing up your family/troop/group to participate:
- Language used must be neutral and appropriate for all neighbors to receive; non-religious messages of kindness/encouragement are appreciated (such as "Have a great day! You are loved! Someone cares! Happy Valentine's Day!")
- If signing your name please use your FIRST NAME ONLY (signing your name is optional)
We would love to have photos of your group working on the valentines! If you are comfortable sharing these photos on social media or for possible use in other HFS media (printed newsletter, eNews, etc.) please email them to sharondeziel@hastingsfamilyservice.org. Please check with all parents/guardians of children before sharing photos.
Valentines are due to the HFS Donation Center by 4PM on Monday, February 10.
Donation Center Drop Off Hours:
- Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm (on Mondays please ring the bell and staff will come to help)
- Sat, 10am-3pm
